LEARNINGS & MISTAKES_1st grading

                                       TRICKS IN MY LIFE
Every time I have done a mistake, I always go in front of the mirror and say, “It’s true that experience is the best name everyone can give to their mistakes.” But we all know that these are only challenges God has given us to make us stronger and be a better person.
As I enter a new chapter of my life which is being a fourth year student, I cannot deny the fact that I wanted to give up because of these endless problems and challenges. If you were in my position, I don’t think you can handle the pressure of being in a special class. Projects, assignments, quizzes, outputs- these are all what I’m doing. Submitting of projects is one of the problems that I have encountered. In these past days, we had a lot of projects to accomplish. I didn’t know what I will do first. Another is the reviewing for the periodical test. This exam is very important because its percentage is very high. Once I’ll get a low score, my grade will also be low. Of all these problems, the greatest challenge that God has given me and until now I did not yet solve is that on how to overcome the rumors spreading in our classroom. I don’t know who spreads that news but I just wanted to say, “Whoever you are, you don’t have the right to spread news without knowing the whole story!”
God will not give us a problem that we can never solve. About the problem on doing my projects, I have done a schedule for each subject also on my reviewing; each subject has a allotted time. I also will not start another project if I cannot finish the first one.
As time passed by and as I go on with my life, lots of learning were learned. Problems are not just problems; they are given to us to make our faith in our creator stronger. Another learning is that friends are not always friends. Sometimes they are the reason why you are falling and friends are the greatest enemies.
Moving on, I will do my best to be a successful person someday. I will not also let myself to be destroyed anymore by somebody especially if she is spreading a lie.

SONA_2012

"It has been two years since you said: We are tired of corruption and of poverty; it is time to restore a government that is truly on the side of the people. Like many of you, I have been a victim of the abuse of power," P-Noy said at the start of his SONA. From time to time, you are fulfilling your projects which you had promised in your second State of the Nation Adddress. Of all the projects that you've been said, can you accomplish all of those?
In your SONA last July 23, 2012 at the Batasan Pambansa Complex, Quezon City, you told us that the culture of "wang-wang" has already stamped out. Sirens now can only blare from the police cars, ambulances, and from fire trucks- not from government officials anymore. You also said that we can now export rice. In the past, we import rice from the other countries but now you have done your job, it was a success. Before, the number of starving people are so large but now the number is already decreasing. You also had a great success on your project, anti-dengue mosquito traps. In Bukidnon where you distributed this traps in 2011, the number of cases decreased to 37. Also in towns of Ballesteros and Claveria in Cagayan, a mere eight cases were only recorded. In Catarman, Northern Samar, mere four case were recorded.
As a student, I like your project which is concern with our studies. I hope that the 66,8000 classrooms and 2,573.212 backlog on chairs will be bequeathed before 2012 ends. I want you to end the backlogs in education sector.
Where a citizen is oppressed, he will find me as an ally; where there is an oppressor, i will be there to fight; where i find something wrong in the system, I will consider it my duty to right it," in this speech of yours, I hope that your projects will not be like a promise that can be broken.

Nutrition Month Celebration

"PAGKAIN NG GULAY UGALIIN, ARAW-ARAW ITONG IHAIN"

There are multiple benefits to good nutrition. By choosing the most nutritious foods, people can live longer, and can have more productive lives. Eating healthier and better can make us feel good about ourselves and our bodies.
If we compare the lifestyle of Filipinos long time ago and the Filipinos at our generation, we can conclude that they are more healthy than what we are now. As we all know, our ancestors like eating vegetables. In the past, they also plant different kinds of leafy vegetables in their backyard. Their children, even at a young age, prefer to eat vegetables, but now, can we still see children, even adults eating that kind of food?
Nowadays, people are so picky of the foods they eat, especially the rich families, they don't even want to taste the deliciousness of vegetables. Don't they know that these are the secrets to being a healthy and physically fit human being? If we try to observed our community, the rich people are more prone to diseases than the poor one. There are also lots of malnourished children in our country because they refuse to swallow these vegetables.
We should bear in mind that these vegetables are the best dishes we can have. Without this, our body will have no strength to perform several task. Vegetables should be eaten and serve everyday.

Letter to the President

                                                                                                   Ilocos Sur National High  School
                                                                                                   Vigan City, Ilocos Sur
                                                                                                    June 21, 2012

Dear P-Noy,

When you were still campaigning for the position of being a president  of this beloved country, you said that we are your boss. You told us that you will listen to all our insights and opinions. You also promised many programs and activities during your inauguration and told us that these will help the country to be more successful and will solve the problems were facing. President Benigno Simeon Cojuangco Aquino III, our progress is in your administration.
At present, our nation is experiencing the K+12 system which you had said that it is six years in elementary and six years in high school. Many are saying that this is very helpful but parents are so problematic because they don't know where to get money for the schooling of their children. I know that you are only thinking of our future Mr. President but you should also listen to our voice, our insights and feelings. Every time you're on the news, the topic is always about your love life. It seems that you are more focusing on searching a wife than ruling our country.
Years had passed and you've been sitting in your position for two years. I know that you are doing your best to make this country a model to all but are you satisfied to what you are doing?
President, I'm expecting that you can change our country for the better. I hope that you will be the first one to implement goodness. I also want to congratulate you for winning in the past election.

                                                                                                                Respectfully yours,
                                                                                                                 Charisma Mae Frando
